WRIT 3152 | Week Fifteen

It’s our final full week of class! We will be meeting for class on both days, and attendence will be a classroom grade. We will not have a mandatory meeting on the university’s official last day of class (Monday, May 4), but I will be available for video calls, phone calls, and DMs on that day. Let me know if you want me to reserve time for you.

In class on Monday, we will see a handful of presentations and I will present the requirements for the Reflective Portfolio.

In class on Wednesday, we will see significantly more presentations and with any remaining time, I will answer questions about the Reflective Portfolio (but feel using #help for those questions).

Here’s a list of what remains to be turned in for WRIT 3152:

  • Publish CA2 and CA3 (if you have not already) in WordPress
  • Complete the CA3 group evaluation form
  • If you choose, submit the voluntary Experiential Activity in Disord by May 4 (guidelines available here)
  • Submit your Annotated Bibliography in D2L by May 4 (deadline extended, guidelines available here)
    • If you are substituting the Experiential Activity for this assignment, submit a note or document in D2L informing me.
  • Complete your Presentation in class on 4/27, 4/29, or via a video link (guidelines available here). If you presented in class, submit an open link to your slides in Discord by Wednesday, 4/29. If you composed a video, submit a link to your web-hosted video in Discord by Wednesday, 4/29.
    • If you are substituting the Experiential Activity for this assignment, submit a note in Discord informing me.
  • Submit your Reflective Portfolio (discussed in class on 4/27) in D2L by May 4.
    • Reach out to me to negotiate a new deadline before May 2.

Remember that the AI policy for this course prohibits the use of AI and LLM products in all stages of assignment development (research, brainstorming, and composing). Please do not make the mistake of relying on AI assistance because you have not budgeted time appropriately for these assignments. I am often willing to engage students in a dialogue about light AI product usage during the semester if I see it, but at the end of the semester, I don’t have time for those discussions. I will assign a zero to student work that I think are partially or fully the work of an AI product, and I will report that syllabus violation to KSU’s Student Conduct and Academic Integrity unit.
