We will be exploring WordPress post building and preparing for our work with Civic Tech Atlanta’s City Camp event.
Our readings:
- CityCamp Atlanta event materials, social media posts, and the original CityCamp format
- Chapters 1-4 of WordPress: The Missing Manual, 3rd edition by Matthew MacDonald
Our activities:
- Choose a CityCamp Atlanta service task (discussed in class), complete it, and post it before the event to the appropriate thread in #activities on Discord.
- Sign up for and attend CityCamp Atlanta, or
- Provide one of Civic Tech Atlanta’s planning teams with an additional service task.
- Build your first WordPress page based on your CityCamp Atlanta experience; post to the appropriate thread in #activities on Discord during Week 7.
