Career Wiki (collaborative)

  1. Project page
    1. Career/s descriptions (two paragraphs)
    2. Team member bios (2 sentences each)
    3. At least three images, one as a banner
    4. Post descriptions and links
    5. Link to reference page
  2. Posts = # of team members x 2
    1. Each chapter is 300-400 words + 1 image
    2. All chapters must be co-authored
    3. Chapters can be from the following categories: labor market/salary analysis; interview with or profile of a practitioner; annotated job posting/s; trade article response; annotated work artifact; debate, dilemma, or ethical application;
  3. Sources
    1. Bibliography of all quoted sources in MLA format
  4. Design
    1. Design consistency that includes a logo or repeated style
    2. All pages linking back to project page
    3. Use of embedded media
    4. Use of block editor tools beyond paragraph, image, and list

Annotated Bibliography and Presentation

The Annotated Bibliography and Presentation assignments are developed from the research that you complete in for the Career Wiki.

  1. Introduction to your research trajectory, 300-400 words
  2. 10 sources in MLA format
  3. Each source annotated with 100-150 words
    • Summarize the source
    • Quote from the source
    • Explain the relevance of the source to your research
  4. 5 minute presentation on your research
    • Presentation format discussed in Week Six
    • Presentation delivered in Week Seven
